About the position

Everlaw is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst - Revenue or FP&A Manager to join our Finance team. This position is crucial as it involves planning and forecasting revenue, analyzing customer data, reporting top-line metrics, and supporting Go-To-Market (GTM) teams. The successful candidate will work closely with the Finance team on month-end close processes, enhancing workflows and systems to align with the company's growth trajectory. This role will actively participate in annual budgeting, planning, and rolling forecasts, providing a comprehensive view of the financial landscape. In this role, you will own the revenue model, including its development, ongoing enhancements, and maintenance to ensure accuracy. You will proactively analyze customer data to provide insights that will help improve revenue modeling while maintaining confidentiality. Collaboration with GTM teams will be essential to enhance bookings forecast accuracy and cost of acquisition efficiency. You will report on top-line unit economics and SaaS metrics to senior leadership, offering insightful discussions on emerging trends. Additionally, you will work with Enterprise Systems to design and map revenue activities, lead the development of revenue models in our Adaptive planning application, assist in preparing materials for the Board and company leadership, and help streamline month-end close processes. Your role will also involve partnering with GTM Strategy & Operations to support ad hoc analysis and modeling requests.

Responsibilities

  • Own revenue model; including development, ongoing enhancements and maintenance to drive accuracy
  • Proactively mine customer data to analyze behavior to provide key insights to management
  • Work closely with GTM to improve our bookings forecast accuracy and cost of acquisition efficiency
  • Report on top-line unit economics and (SaaS) metrics to senior leadership
  • Work closely with Enterprise Systems to design and map revenue activity to support revenue modeling, analysis, and overall reporting
  • Lead the development of revenue models in our Adaptive planning application
  • Assist with the preparation of materials for the Board and company leadership
  • Understand, participate in, and help streamline month end close processes
  • Partner with GTM Strategy & Operations to support ad hoc analysis
  • Support ad hoc modeling and reporting requests

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience working with large and unstructured datasets to extract insights and suggestions
  • Familiarity with SaaS metrics and financial reporting, including ARR and NDR
  • At least four years of progressive experience in private and/or public company roles (Sr. Financial Analyst - Revenue) or at least seven years of progressive experience (FP&A Manager)
  • Strong Google Sheets and/or Microsoft Excel skills
  • Ability to organize information effectively to weigh alternatives and choose the best course of action
  • Positive mindset with a belief that obstacles are opportunities in disguise
  • Authorized to work in the United States
