About the position

The Balance Sheet Management Lead Analyst is a strategic professional responsible for enhancing Recovery and Resolution Planning (RRP) capabilities within the Balance Sheet Recovery and Resolution Planning team. This role involves collaborating with business process subject matter experts and stakeholders to implement technology and business process improvements, ensuring that enhancements are effectively designed and delivered. The position requires strong analytical skills, communication abilities, and a solid understanding of financial services operations.

Responsibilities

• Support Recovery and Resolution Planning forecasting execution processes enhancements
• Contribute to design of strategic enhancements to RRP technology systems and business processes
• Document business requirements for technology teams to deliver on
• Develop User Acceptance Testing plans and write test cases
• Perform User Acceptance Testing
• Work with business process owners and technology teams to ensure enhancements are designed and delivered as required
• Contribute to definition and documentation of business processes

Requirements

• 6-10 years of experience working for a financial services organization
• Analytical skills and ability to design strategic solutions and processes
• Extensive experience as a business analyst delivering technology enhancements
• Proficiency with standard analysis tools (Excel / Access / SQL)
• Excellent written and oral communication
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to interact with all levels of management

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of Recovery and Resolution Planning and/or stress testing (e.g. CCAR)
• Knowledge of Balance Sheet reporting and general accounting principles
• Experience with modelling
