About the position

The Senior Financial Analyst position at Vertiv Corporation focuses on consolidating financial data and providing insights for enterprise-level financial planning and analysis. The role is integral to ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting and supports various financial projects, including M&A integration and process optimization. Responsibilities

• Consolidate regional budget & forecast submissions to provide a global view of financial performance
• Leverage business insights gained in review and analysis to improve business forecasting and the accuracy of business forecasts
• Support special projects including M&A integration, process optimization, and financial system implementation
• Ensure the integrity of Vertiv financial information through vigilant accounting and reporting accuracy
• Assist in the preparation of FP&A related SOX controls
• Review functional activities to identify opportunities and leverage technology for process improvements
• Perform ad hoc analysis, reporting, and other tasks as requested from various Corporate Finance teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting preferred but not required
• 3-5+ years of finance or accounting experience
• Experience in a large multi-national company preferred
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Strong analytical skills with a scientific/critical thinking approach to problem-solving
• Strong communication skills to discern pertinent data for management
• Ability to communicate effectively with non-Finance business liaisons
• Profoundly inquisitive with a desire to exceed expectations
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office tools
• Experience with Oracle, Hyperion Essbase, or PowerBI is a plus
