About the position

Vertiv, a global leader in network power solutions, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for Consolidations & Reporting at its headquarters in Westerville, OH. This role reports to the Director of Global FP&A and is part of a team responsible for enterprise-level financial planning and analysis. The ideal candidate will focus on root cause analysis to provide insights and demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate regional budget and forecast submissions to provide a global view of financial performance.
• Leverage business insights gained in review and analysis to improve business forecasting and accuracy.
• Support special projects including M&A integration, process optimization, and financial system implementation.
• Ensure the integrity of Vertiv's financial information through accurate accounting and reporting.
• Assist in the preparation of FP&A related SOX controls.
• Review functional activities to identify opportunities and leverage technology for process improvements.
• Perform ad hoc analysis, reporting, and other tasks as requested from various Corporate Finance teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting preferred but not required.
• 3-5 years of finance or accounting experience.
• Experience in a large multi-national company preferred.
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Strong analytical skills with a scientific/critical thinking approach to problem-solving.
• Strong communication skills to discern pertinent data for management.
• Ability to communicate effectively with non-Finance business liaisons.
• Profoundly inquisitive with a desire to exceed expectations.
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office tools.
• Experience with Oracle, Hyperion Essbase, or PowerBI is a plus.
