About the position

As a Financial Planning Sr. Analyst at CBRE, you will be responsible for conducting moderate to complex financial analysis, financial reporting, and ad hoc finance projects. This role is integral to the Financial Planning and Analysis function, focusing on both short and long-term financial planning and analysis of business operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the monthly and quarterly review of subsegment results including P&L, capital, KPIs, CAPEX and spending based on performance targets and objectives, providing commentaries.
• Develop cost improvement and savings opportunities and provide documentation, supporting commercial assessment.
• Manage the annual budget process from the facilitation of data collection to eventual review and evaluation of P&Ls.
• Perform budget input/review, workflow setups and oversee month-end deliverables.
• Set up Tree Node/FMC, monitor aged expense reports.
• Present routine and ad-hoc financial reports, packages and proforma analyses to management.
• Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
• Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
• Advanced math skills, including the ability to calculate complicated figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
