Saluda Medical is seeking an FP&A Systems Analyst to support global Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) activities. This hands-on role is crucial for delivering long-range plans, annual operating plans (AOP), forecasts, and performance reporting. The analyst will work closely with the IT department and the broader finance team to enhance the utility, effectiveness, and efficiency of FP&A through business intelligence (BI) planning and reporting tools. The position is based in Bloomington, MN, and offers a hybrid work environment, allowing for a blend of in-office and remote work. In this role, the FP&A Systems Analyst will be responsible for developing financial plans that align with Saluda's strategic goals. This includes analyzing commercial plans and business drivers, supporting the budgeting and forecasting process, and collaborating with business unit finance teams to establish plans and assumptions for achieving business targets. The analyst will also be tasked with developing and distributing KPI dashboards, automating data and reporting, and addressing material changes in outlook promptly. The analyst will engage in scenario analysis, modeling business scenarios, and developing contingency plans to navigate changes in market conditions. They will partner with various business units to develop and deliver on their financial plans, ensuring accurate monthly results and timely distribution of action-oriented KPI dashboards. Additionally, the role involves leading and coordinating studies to evaluate potential solutions for automating existing or proposed work functions, ensuring that FP&A information systems support the team's objectives, and managing external vendor relationships for system functionality design and implementation. The FP&A Systems Analyst will also play a key role in maintaining an effective internal control environment, working alongside the global financial accounting team to ensure the integrity of financial information and compliance with financial policies and protocols. This position requires a strong understanding of internal controls monitoring and compliance auditing, as well as the ability to support global internal controls activities.
