About The Position

The fpKIDS Preschool Director at Faith Promise Church is responsible for overseeing the Children's Ministry for ages 6 weeks to 5 years old. This role focuses on creating a loving and safe environment for children and their families, fostering spiritual growth, and managing volunteers. The director will work collaboratively with other fpKIDS Pastors to ensure excellence in programming and community engagement.

Requirements

• Growing experience in volunteer management.
• Mid-level leadership experience.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide structure, leadership, and strategic planning for the growth of fpKIDS within the preschool phase.
• Implement and ensure development of Leadership Values within care structure.
• Active recruitment, training, and scheduling of all volunteers serving in early childhood and preschool.
• Create and maintain an atmosphere in the fpKIDS environments that fosters relationships between kids, leaders, and parents.
• Multiply leadership by raising up layers of volunteer teams to invest and serve in the fpKIDS Team.
• Assist in planning and attending major fpKIDS Events.
• Help organize and coordinate events such as child dedication workshops and summer events.
• Create outreach and internal events that help families connect to the community of Faith Promise.
• Contribute toward fpKIDS and FPC global efforts by recruiting and leading volunteer teams for special events/projects.
• Perform all other duties assigned by the fpKIDS Campus Pastors and Pellissippi Campus Pastor.
