About the position

The Fractional Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) will play a pivotal role in shaping the recruiting strategy and enhancing the company's reputation as a desirable workplace. This position involves collaboration with department managers to identify hiring needs, attract candidates through various channels, and ensure a smooth recruitment process. The ideal candidate will have a strong HR background and extensive experience in recruitment, focusing on building relationships with candidates and providing analytical insights to the team.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement overall recruiting strategy
  • Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
  • Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives
  • Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job boards/newspapers/colleges, etc.
  • Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media, etc.
  • Screen candidates' resumes and job applications
  • Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule
  • Assess applicants' relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes
  • Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices
  • Provide analytical and well-documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team
  • Function as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
  • Promote the company's reputation as a 'best place to work'

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a recruiting role
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 programs (including but not limited to Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system
  • Maintain social media job postings
  • Solid ability to conduct various types of interviews
  • Proven work experience as a recruiter
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
