Responsibilities
- Proactively approach retail customers and engage them in conversations to understand their beauty and fragrance needs.
- Employ persuasive retail selling techniques to upsell and cross-sell fragrance products.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest beauty and fragrance trends.
- Conduct interactive product demonstrations and trainings to retail sales associates.
- Collaborate with the store management team to develop and implement retail sales strategies, promotions, and events to drive fragrance sales.
- Maintain a visually appealing and well-organized beauty retail space and fragrance section, ensuring that products are prominently displayed and regularly restocked.
- Continuously strive to meet and exceed individual and team sales targets, contributing to the overall profitability of the store.
Requirements
- Previous experience in Retail sales, preferably in the beauty industry, cosmetics, or retail industry, with a focus on fragrance sales.
- A strong passion for beauty and fragrances and a deep understanding of scent families, notes, and fragrance composition.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment like Macys, Sephora, and Ulta.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required to meet customer demand.
- Familiarity with different fragrance brands, their product offerings, and competitive landscape.
