About the position

As a Fragrance Sales Associate, you will be instrumental in creating an inviting shopping experience for customers by showcasing a diverse range of fragrances. Your role will involve providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers in selecting products, and driving sales through your passion for fragrances and commitment to customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance in selecting fragrances.
• Demonstrate product knowledge by explaining fragrance notes, benefits, and usage.
• Maintain an organized and visually appealing display of fragrance products.
• Operate the cash register efficiently, handling transactions accurately and securely.
• Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and conducting stock counts.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment.
• Stay updated on current fragrance trends and promotions to effectively communicate with customers.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred.
• Bilingual skills are a plus to enhance communication with diverse clientele.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and retail math is advantageous.
• Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and maintain an orderly workspace.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• A passion for fragrances and a desire to learn about new products is essential.

Nice-to-haves

• A background in cosmetology or related fields can be beneficial but is not required.
• Cosmetology License (Preferred)
