About the position

The Sales Manager at Holiday Inn Cherry Hill is responsible for driving room night sales and maximizing profitability through strategic sales planning and execution. This role involves managing daily sales activities, leading marketing efforts, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences while achieving personal and sales goals.

Responsibilities

  • Managing daily sales activities to deliver full potential
  • Hitting all personal and sales goals to maximize profitability
  • Creating and implementing sales plans that drive measurable incremental occupancy
  • Increasing average rates, volume, food and beverage, and banquet sales
  • Producing and reviewing monthly reports to monitor performance
  • Leading marketing efforts to up-sell guests on hotel services, offerings, and amenities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher education qualification in marketing or related field
  • Four or more years of experience in a hospitality or hotel sales and marketing setting
  • Direct supervisory experience over a sales team
  • Strong knowledge of local businesses and business trends
  • Must speak local language(s)
  • Other languages preferred
