About the position

As a Fraud Analyst I on the Fraud Engagement Team at InComm Payments, you will be instrumental in monitoring, tracking, and communicating fraud trends across the enterprise. This role involves acting as a subject matter expert on reporting topics and operational processes related to fraud prevention and detection, while managing priorities based on risk assessments and upper management goals. You will also serve as a primary contact for internal and external clients regarding fraud-related issues.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of fraud prevention strategies for retail locations.
  • Perform deep-dive analysis of ongoing fraud trends, detailing risks and potential losses.
  • Implement strategic goals through tactical processes using various tools and resources.
  • Perform due diligence on new corporate products and internal processes.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on fraud cases and prevention tools.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure effective communication and prevent process overlap.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years in Payments Fraud & Risk or related fields.
  • College degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
  • Experience with SQL, Python, and/or PowerBI.
  • Prior project management and/or risk management experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail and risk identification skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in fraud prevention and detection strategies.
  • Familiarity with gift card fraud schemes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
