About the position

The Fraud Platform Testing Analyst at U.S. Bank is responsible for testing the Fraud Platform related to transaction and item fraud for deposit accounts and electronic banking activities. This role involves analyzing business requirements, developing and executing User Acceptance Test plans, documenting testing results, and communicating defects to ensure proper prioritization and resolution. The position also includes regression testing to maintain system quality across releases.

Responsibilities

  • Test the Fraud Platform for transaction and item fraud related to deposit accounts and electronic banking activity.
  • Analyze business requirements to develop and execute User Acceptance Test plans.
  • Document testing results and communicate defects for prioritization.
  • Assist in driving the resolution of defects identified during testing.
  • Complete regression testing to ensure ongoing system quality from release to release.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Typically 3+ years of applicable experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of fraud risk and operations management associated with product lines.
  • Knowledge of banking systems.
  • Strong analytical skills for evaluating user stories to create effective test plans.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Ability to create detailed documentation from test plans through testing sign off.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient computer navigation skills using various software packages including Microsoft Office and data analysis software.

  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the banking industry.
