Fanatics is building a leading global digital sports platform. Through the Fanatics platform, sports fans can buy licensed fan gear, jerseys, lifestyle and streetwear products, headwear, and hardgoods; collect physical and digital trading cards, sports memorabilia, and other digital assets; and bet as the company builds its Sportsbook and iGaming platform. Fanatics has an established database of over 100 million global sports fans; a global partner network with approximately 900 sports properties, including major national and international professional sports leagues, players associations, teams, colleges, college conferences and retail partners, 2,500 athletes and celebrities, and 200 exclusive athletes; and over 2,000 retail locations, including its Lids retail stores. As a Fraud Prevention Agent, you will play a critical role in preventing fraud on our platform while also ensuring our customers have a world-class experience. You will be responsible for monitoring the front line defense, identifying and escalating potentially fraudulent activity. You will work closely with other Operations teams to assist in the resolution of various fraud-related matters.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze daily alerting, flag potential fraudulent activity and take action to mitigate losses
  • Review customer account and activity
  • Ensure compliance with anti-money laundering regulations, including KYC requirements and gaming regulations
  • Act as the fraud front line of BetFanatics by communicating directly with customers through emails, chats and phone calls
  • Assist the customer support and VIP teams with escalated customers

Requirements

  • 0-2 years of relevant fraud and/or AML risk experience
  • A Bachelor's Degree in a related field such as Criminal Justice, Finance or Business will be considered as an asset
  • Understanding of gaming and payment processes
  • General understanding of Sports Betting, Casino and payment processes
  • Self-motivated, analytical thinker with exceptional attention to detail
  • Flexibility to perform in a fast-paced startup environment in an evolving industry
  • Investigative curiosity with strong organizational skills
  • Competence with Salesforce and the G Suite products
  • Intermediate Google Sheets skills are highly desirable
  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule that will include weekends
  • Ability to obtain and maintain licensing in multiple jurisdictions

Benefits

  • Hourly pay of $24.00 depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience
