SquareTrade is seeking a Fraud Strategy Process Lead to join our Trust & Safety department. This role is crucial in helping the business effectively mitigate fraud risk in a rapidly changing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing fraud strategies that align with the business's risk appetite, ultimately impacting millions of customers globally through partnership, education, analysis, and influence. The primary goal of this position is to reduce fraud losses by identifying trends and developing effective fraud strategies and business rules. Additionally, the role aims to improve the efficiency of fraud prevention processes and minimize negative customer experiences by understanding friction points and implementing technology-based solutions to manage trends. In this role, you will analyze fraud vectors across SquareTrade's platform, focusing on both first-party and third-party fraud types. You will develop and maintain metrics and KPIs that measure the effectiveness of risk mitigation strategies and communicate progress to key stakeholders and leadership. Collaboration is key, as you will coordinate with our dedicated Fraud Operations team on policies, procedures, and investigative practices. You will also manage and lead strategic initiatives and projects that focus on both fraud prevention and business growth while ensuring a positive customer experience.
