About the position

The Fraud Surveillance Analyst plays a crucial role in monitoring and analyzing potential fraudulent activities within Fidelity Investments. This position involves working collaboratively with various teams to protect the firm and its customers from financial risks associated with fraud. The analyst will utilize proprietary fraud systems to detect unauthorized access and fraudulent transactions, ensuring timely and accurate responses to alerts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor for evidence and signs of customer fraud and unauthorized account access.
• Analyze data from internal fraud systems and business applications.
• Collaborate with other teams across Fidelity to enhance fraud detection efforts.
• Conduct and coordinate research requests as needed.
• Communicate findings to management and colleagues regarding fraud alerts.

Requirements

• High School / College degree and/or 4 years of work experience in a relevant field.
• Experience in the financial services industry.
• Knowledge of financial transactions and a firm understanding of trading markets and operations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
