About the position

The Fraud Surveillance Analyst plays a crucial role in monitoring and analyzing potential fraudulent activities within Fidelity Investments. This position involves working collaboratively with various teams to detect and respond to incidents that could pose financial risks to the firm and its clients. The analyst will utilize proprietary fraud systems to assess alerts and ensure the protection of customer accounts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor for evidence and signs of customer fraud and unauthorized account access.
• Analyze data from internal fraud systems and business applications.
• Collaborate with other teams across Fidelity to enhance fraud detection efforts.
• Conduct timely and accurate analysis within Fraud Surveillance detection systems.
• Communicate findings to management and colleagues regarding potential fraud cases.
• Conduct and coordinate research requests as needed.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED, with a preference for a college degree or equivalent work experience.
• 4 years of work experience in a relevant field, particularly in financial services.
• Demonstrated knowledge of financial transactions and trading markets.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills to assess situations and take appropriate actions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Knowledge of Fidelity systems preferred.
