About the position
Free People is searching for an Associate Merchandise Planner who will assist the team in planning and owning a product class. The role involves independently running and distributing weekly and month-end reports, partnering with sales to compile and distribute department store selling, and ensuring the accuracy of all reporting. The Associate Merchandise Planner will need to understand financial measurements and apply retail math to identify business drivers. Collaboration with planning, merchant, and sales teams to identify any business opportunities is essential. Clear and confident communication with the wholesale merchant and sales team is required, along with assisting in preparation for OTB and wholesale key cross-functional meetings. The role also includes responsibility for attribute reporting, running adhoc reports, and assisting in projects as needed.
