The Tech Fundamentals program is a comprehensive and free training initiative designed to equip participants with essential skills for a career in technology. The program also focuses on helping participants earn industry-recognized certifications, including CompTIA A+, a Google IT Support Certificate, and an IT Generalist Apprenticeship credential. These certifications are crucial for enhancing employability in the competitive tech job market. In addition to technical training, the Tech Fundamentals program emphasizes the importance of mentorship and support. Participants will receive guidance from senior-level IT professionals, which can significantly enhance their learning experience and professional development. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Must be 18-26 years of age or over 21 if a military veteran or spouse.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Legally authorized to work in the US.
  • For military veterans or spouses: must be transitioning active-duty servicemember through the DoD SkillBridge program, honorably discharged, or a member of the Guard or Reserves.
