About The Position

The Sales Representative position at Clayton Homes involves transforming the lives of customers by guiding them through the home buying process. Requirements

• At least 6 months of relationship-driven business to consumer sales experience preferred.
• General understanding of the retail environment.
• Ability to obtain appropriate manufactured home sales licensing.
• Learn and comply with legal requirements for the sale of manufactured homes.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to excel and contribute to a team environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work required schedule, including Saturdays.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Ability to walk the lot and show homes throughout all seasons.
• Ability to move and lift furniture, promotional items, etc. (up to 75 lbs).
• Subject to criminal background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Create a world-class home buying experience for customers.
• Assist customers in identifying floor plans and selecting options.
• Coordinate the construction process for new homes.
• Maintain customer files and provide timely follow-up with prospective buyers via the company's CRM system.
• Help select inventory, decorate models, and maintain the appearance of homes.
• Develop and execute a strategic sales and marketing plan to increase home center traffic.
• Present display homes to potential buyers, demonstrating features and benefits.
• Set appointments for home center visits using prospect databases and converting leads.
• Participate in all sales meetings, training opportunities, and company-sponsored functions.
• Collaborate with team members and assist with miscellaneous duties as required.
