About the position

The Associate Creative Director at BMF will lead digital campaign executions for a diverse range of projects, focusing on driving creative development and content production for global clients. This role emphasizes collaboration with the Digital Creative team to deliver innovative multimedia content that engages audiences and sparks meaningful social conversations. The position requires a strong creative leader with experience in digital-first environments and a passion for high-impact storytelling.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of digital and social content for global projects.
  • Collaborate with members of the Digital Creative team, including copywriters, designers, and producers.
  • Ideate and execute innovative digital campaigns under the guidance of the Creative Director, Digital.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of always-on social campaigns by leveraging clients' milestone events.
  • Support the in-house Strategy team by ideating campaign wrappers and illustrating different content executions.
  • Contribute to the development of brand and social media playbooks.
  • Demonstrate a social-first mindset, keeping trends and best practices in mind.
  • Provide vendor recommendations on a project-by-project basis.
  • Craft and implement digital art direction on high-impact accounts.
  • Guide the production of global content shoots, ensuring timely and budget-compliant execution.
  • Oversee global content shoots on-set as needed and provide editorial support for live-event capture.
  • Drive storyboard development and oversee post-production of global video content, considering cultural nuances.
  • Oversee post-production of static and UGC assets as needed.
  • Contribute to agency-wide brainstorms and RFP responses.
  • Uphold BMF's standards for creative excellence throughout every campaign.
  • Update internal stakeholders on project status, ensuring transparency.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced agency setting as a digital-first creative.
  • Experience in end-to-end still/video production.
  • Experience directing digital and creator-led content shoots.
  • Experience in the entertainment industry is preferred.
  • Proven track record of developing high-impact, multimedia digital creative that drives social conversation.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate creative concepts effectively.
  • Possess a clear creative point-of-view and high taste level.
  • Well-informed about social trends and best practices.
  • Ability to flex between strategic thinking and art direction implementation.
  • Proven track record of delivering innovative work with high standards of quality.
  • Empathetic and patient management approach with a solution-oriented attitude.
  • Proficient in Mac, Adobe Creative Suite, Keynote, Excel, Google Docs, and Outlook.
