About the position

At Corporate AV Labor, we specialize in providing top-notch corporate audio-visual labor services. Our focus is on staffing skilled freelance professionals such as Audio Engineers, Video Engineers, Lighting Designers, Programmers, Camera Operators, Graphix Operators, Playback Operators, General Utility Techs, Stagehands, Carpenters, and Truck Loaders to meet our clients' production needs from start to finish. This includes everything from unloading equipment and assisting with installations to providing technical support during events and managing the strike and teardown processes after the event concludes. We are looking for individuals who have experience in the corporate audio-visual industry, particularly in environments such as general sessions, breakout rooms, exhibit floors, live sporting events, or concerts. Responsibilities

  • Unload equipment from trucks and assist with installations.
  • Provide technical support during events as Audio Engineers, Video Engineers, or General Utility Techs.
  • Manage the strike and teardown processes after events conclude.
  • Work collaboratively with other technicians and staff to ensure smooth event operations.
  • Adapt to various roles as needed, including Stagehands, Carpenters, and Truck Loaders.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in live events, preferably in the corporate audio-visual industry.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including day shifts, night shifts, and weekends as needed.
  • Experience in a variety of event settings, including general sessions, breakout rooms, and live performances.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with specific audio-visual equipment and software.
  • Knowledge of lighting design and programming.
  • Familiarity with event production processes and logistics.
