About the position

The Freelance Content Creator at waterdrop® is responsible for producing engaging short-form video content for social media platforms such as Instagram Reels and TikTok. This remote role requires creativity, strong storytelling skills, and the ability to align content with the brand's voice and objectives. The position is ideal for self-starters who can work independently and manage multiple projects while staying updated on social media trends.

Responsibilities

• Develop, shoot, and edit short-form video content for platforms like Instagram Reels and TikTok.
• Create high-quality user-generated content (UGC) that feels authentic and relatable.
• Review and follow provided briefs to accurately represent the brand, products, and messaging.
• Regularly pitch new content ideas that align with current social media trends and brand objectives.
• Ensure consistency in video quality, including editing, sound, lighting, and overall visual appeal.
• Stay up-to-date on social media trends, tools, and platform updates, adapting content as needed.
• Support with creating captions for video content.

Requirements

• Proven experience in creating and editing UGC-style short-form video content for social media.
• Ability to follow creative briefs and direction, integrating product features and brand messaging seamlessly.
• Proficient in video editing software and mobile editing apps.
• Strong creative and storytelling skills, with a keen understanding of social media dynamics.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects.
