As a Freelance Content Creator, you will be responsible for producing high-quality video and photography content tailored for digital marketing purposes. This includes creating assets for various platforms such as websites, paid advertisements, and organic social media channels including TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Pinterest. Your role will involve shooting your own content and submitting it according to assignment deadlines provided by project managers. You will receive creative briefs via email detailing project requirements, and you will have the option to accept or decline these projects based on your availability and interest. The content you create will range from unboxing and review videos to lifestyle content, and you will not be required to post this content on your personal social media accounts, although you are welcome to do so. This position is ideal for those looking for a side hustle to earn extra income while potentially receiving free products in exchange for your creative output. To succeed in this role, you should have a solid understanding of social media best practices and audience engagement strategies. Responsibilities

  • Execute the video production process from beginning to end, including research, concepts, scripting, filming, and editing/post-production.
  • Stay up-to-date with current and emerging technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications.
  • Implement feedback and edits received from internal and external teams.
  • Actively track, prioritize, organize, plan, and complete content assignments.
  • Research assets, photography, music, and other materials as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of photography, videography, and video production experience.
  • A relevant online portfolio, PDF, or Google Drive folder showcasing strong production skills.
  • Video editing capabilities with social media apps or software such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or Final Cut Pro.
  • Comfort with being in front of the camera as on-screen talent.
  • Understanding of image and video display standards on all social platforms.
  • Own equipment (camera, lighting, microphones) and knowledge of how to use it.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills.
  • Ability to take direction well and perform assigned tasks in a timely manner.
  • Openness to constructive criticism and collaboration from team members.
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail and deadline orientation.
  • Understanding of various audience types and social media best practices to optimize engagement.
