About the position
As a Freelance Content Creator, you will be responsible for producing high-quality video and photography content tailored for digital marketing purposes. This includes creating assets for various platforms such as websites, paid advertisements, and organic social media channels including TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Pinterest. Your role will involve shooting your own content and submitting it according to project deadlines set by our team. You will receive creative briefs from project managers, which will outline the details of each assignment. You will have the autonomy to review these project offers and decide whether to accept or decline them. Communication with our team is essential as you create and submit your content for approval before payment is processed. The content you create will be utilized by clients for their social media and website, and may include various types of videos such as unboxing, reviews, try-ons, and lifestyle content. This position is not an influencer role; you will not be required to post the content on your personal social media accounts, although you are welcome to do so. This opportunity is ideal for those looking for a side hustle to earn extra income while potentially receiving free products in exchange for your creative output. Responsibilities
- Create a wide range of content/assets that support digital and social campaigns (e.g., photography, videos, reels, social media posts, and more).
- Execute the video production process from beginning to end for both repurposed and original content: research, concepts, scripting, filming, and editing/post-production.
- Stay up-to-date with current and emerging technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications.
- Implement feedback and edits received from internal and external (client) teams.
- Actively track, prioritize, organize, plan, and complete content assignments.
- Research assets, photography, music, and other assets as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of photography, videography, and video production experience.
- A relevant online portfolio, PDF, or Google Drive folder of your current work, showcasing strong production skills.
- Video editing capabilities with social media apps, video editing apps or video editing software such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, etc.
- Comfort with being in front of the camera as on-screen talent.
- Understanding of image and video display standards on all social platforms.
- Your own equipment (camera, lighting, microphones) and knowledge of how to use it.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- The ability to take direction well and perform assigned tasks in a timely and productive manner.
- Openness to constructive criticism and collaboration from team members.
- The ability to stay highly organized with great attention to detail and be deadline-oriented.
- A strong understanding of the various audience types and social media best practices to optimize engagement and traffic.
- A solid understanding of design for various social platforms.
