About the position

The Freelance Content Creator at Alice and Olivia will focus on enhancing the brand's presence across social media platforms, particularly Instagram and TikTok. This role involves collaborating with various teams to create engaging video content that aligns with the brand's vision and voice, while also staying updated on the latest trends in fashion and social media.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Founder/Creative Director, Creative Team, and Marketing Team to develop and execute social video shoots.
• Shoot and edit video content under the guidance of the Creative Director.
• Create various types of content including social posts, videos, animated gifs, and long format videos.
• Perform sound editing for original audio for social media.
• Stay updated on the latest fashion trends and video editing techniques.
• Work with senior leadership and the Marketing Team to execute a social media strategy that engages followers and grows the digital community.
• Research current and emerging social, lifestyle, and fashion trends to identify engagement opportunities.
• Maintain knowledge of best practices in social media platforms and technology related to video and audio editing.
• Ideate and create fresh social media content that aligns with the brand's creative direction.
• Generate and present innovative ideas for marketing content through social media.

Requirements

• Proven experience in video content creation and editing.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, particularly Instagram and TikTok.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with creative teams and leadership.
• Knowledge of current fashion trends and video editing techniques.
• Strong communication skills and ability to present ideas clearly.
