About the position

The Freelance In-Person Event Host at Visit.org will facilitate interactive social impact experiences for corporate partners during in-person events. This role is ideal for individuals with stage experience who are comfortable in front of a crowd and are passionate about positively impacting local communities. The position requires a dynamic personality and the ability to engage participants effectively while supporting nonprofit organizations.

Responsibilities

• Be the host for fun, engaging team-building social impact activities and events.
• Welcome, engage, and inspire participants during the events.
• Support nonprofits in facilitating the in-person events.

Requirements

• Fluent in English.
• Based in Lake, Mary FL.
• Availability to work on a contract per event basis.
• Comfortable interacting with groups of people and one-on-one.
• Easy conversationalist with lots of energy and a charismatic personality.
• Background in acting, comedy, improv, or similar profession is a bonus.
• Experience with group facilitation and managing group dynamics.
• High energy and a positive attitude.
• Quick thinker with problem-solving skills during events.
• Extremely comfortable with and enjoys public speaking.
• Excellent customer service and presentation skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Background in acting, comedy, or improv is a bonus.
