About the position

The Freelance In-Person Event Host at Visit.org will facilitate interactive social impact experiences for corporate partners during in-person events. This role is ideal for individuals with stage experience who are comfortable in front of a crowd and are passionate about making a positive impact in local communities. The position requires a dynamic personality and the ability to engage participants effectively while supporting nonprofit organizations.

Responsibilities

• Be the host for fun, engaging, team-building social impact activities and events.
• Welcome, engage, and inspire participants while supporting nonprofits in facilitating the in-person event.

Requirements

• Fluent in English
• Based in Mt. Laurel, NJ
• Availability to work on a contract per event basis
• Comfortable interacting with groups of people as well as one-on-one
• Easy conversationalist with lots of energy and a charismatic personality
• Background in acting, comedy, improv, or similar profession is a bonus
• Experience with group facilitation and managing group dynamics
• High energy and a positive attitude
• Quick thinker with problem-solving skills during events
• Extremely comfortable with and enjoys public speaking
• Excellent customer service and presentation skills.
