About the position

Chantecaille Beauté is seeking a Freelance Makeup Artist to join their dynamic team. This part-time role involves providing exceptional makeup experiences for clients at various locations, rather than a permanent retail store. The position requires flexibility in scheduling, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to meet business needs and achieve personal sales objectives.

Responsibilities

• Provide an excellent makeup experience for customers.
• Connect with clients and determine their needs.
• Create a luxury experience for all clients with Chantecaille brand-specific selling behavior, including product demonstration.
• Achieve personal retail sales objectives.
• Attract new Chantecaille customers and retain them through exceptional service and follow-up.
• Express a passion for beauty and cosmetics.
• Inspire clients with expertise on beauty trends and products.
• Strive to achieve and exceed personal sales goals, including company-specific KPIs and individual sales tracking.
• Be proactive in booking appointments, maximizing every consultation, and planning and executing events.
• Consistently create exceptional customer service and memorable client experiences.

Requirements

• Must have a high school degree or equivalent.
• Customer service or retail cosmetic/fragrance sales experience required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong drive for sales achievement with integrity.
• Possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Be reliable, dependable, and punctual.
• Ability to assist with cleaning, re-stocking, and moving boxes at the counter as part of the team.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
