About the position

LiftingLife is seeking enthusiastic photography assistants to join our photo team for an exciting sports event at the Fort Worth Convention Center. This temporary, part-time position will span four days, from Thursday, August 29th to Sunday, September 1st. We are looking for six dedicated individuals who can commit to working all four days, assisting in capturing the vibrant atmosphere of the event. As a photography assistant, your primary responsibility will be to operate a remote camera that will take photos during the event. You do not need to bring any personal photography equipment, as we will provide everything necessary for the job. This role is perfect for those who have a passion for photography, even if you are not a professional. Experience with photography or weightlifting is a plus, but not mandatory. The shifts will be either from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM or from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and you will receive paid breaks every hour during your shift. Responsibilities

• Operate a remote camera to take photos during the sports event.
• Assist the photo team in capturing various moments throughout the event.
• Follow instructions from the lead photographer and adhere to the event schedule.
• Ensure the camera is functioning properly and report any issues to the team.
• Participate in team meetings and briefings before the event starts.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of photography principles and techniques.
• Ability to operate a remote camera system.

• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
