About the position

The Freelance Videographer position is an opportunity to work with the Emmy-nominated TV show, The American Dream, which focuses on real estate, lifestyle, and culture. The role involves capturing high-quality video content for national television, with the potential for your work to be featured on major networks such as Travel Channel, CNBC, and CBS. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through video and the technical skills necessary to produce professional-grade footage.

Responsibilities

• Film interviews with proper sound techniques (A-Roll)
• Capture supplemental footage on the fly (B-Roll)
• White balance, frame, and expose correctly in-camera
• Maintain professionalism while working with clients
• Guide on-camera talent through interviews

Requirements

• 5 years of filming experience
• Camera (Sony a-series, Canon R5, Pana S1, GH5 or similar)
• Delivery format: MOV, 1080, 8 bit or 10 bit
• Gimbal for stabilization
• Ability to mic up at least 2 subjects wirelessly
• Experience with walking and talking interviews, reality TV, and lifestyle content
• Run & Gun filming experience
• Drone operation experience is a plus
