About the position

The Freelance Videographer position at HC Brands involves creating engaging video content to promote the company's unique products. The role is designed for a passionate storyteller who can work independently and collaboratively with a team of ecommerce marketers. The videographer will be responsible for developing both short-form and long-form videos that align with the brand's message and drive product sales through social media channels.

Responsibilities

• Develop short-form and long-form video content for social media showcasing products.
• Creatively edit videos within specified timeline parameters.
• Collaborate with creative teammates, marketing, and senior management in the Jacksonville office.
• Understand the brand message and tone to accurately capture them in video and photo form.
• Create social video content that drives high engagement and clicks to maximize product sales.

Requirements

• Experienced editor with samples of work.
• Proficient in Final Cut Pro and/or Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Creative Suite.
• Understanding of storytelling and post-production processes, including color grading, audio mixing, and video compression.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in high-end short & long-form content developed for social marketing on Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok.
