About the position

Toast Weddings is seeking Freelance Wedding Photographers and/or Videographers to join their collective. The role focuses on capturing wedding moments with artistic integrity and professionalism, while the company handles all editing. The ideal candidates will be passionate about their craft and committed to delivering high-quality work that tells the unique stories of each couple.

Responsibilities

• Own or be willing to rent 2 cameras, 2 lenses (zoom/wide), and a flash for photography; or 2 cameras, 2 lenses, and 2 wireless microphones for videography.
• Cover weddings solo while managing all gear.
• Have reliable transportation to/from wedding locations.
• Provide open communication and feedback with the team regarding file sizes and wedding experience details.
• Upload RAW files and keep wedding files for up to one month.
• Maintain a pleasant attitude, customer service skills, and professional appearance.
• Provide two links to current work.

Requirements

• Entry-level experience in photography or videography (under 1 year).
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to manage and operate photography or videography equipment effectively.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience shooting weddings professionally.
• Portfolio showcasing previous wedding work.
