About the position

Toast Wedding Films is seeking a Freelance Wedding Videographer to join their collective. This role focuses on shooting wedding videos, as the company handles all editing. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through videography and will work collaboratively with other artists to produce high-quality wedding films.

Responsibilities

• Own (or be willing to rent) 2 cameras, 2 lenses, and 2 wireless microphones.
• Cover a wedding solo while managing all gear.
• Have reliable transportation to/from wedding locations.
• Provide open communication and feedback with the team regarding file sizes and wedding experience details.
• Be able to ship and receive drives.
• Keep wedding footage for up to one month.
• Maintain a pleasant attitude, customer service skills, and professional appearance.
• Provide two links to current work.

Requirements

• Experience in videography with a focus on weddings.
• Ownership or willingness to rent necessary equipment (2 cameras, 2 lenses, 2 wireless microphones).
• Ability to work independently and manage all gear during weddings.
• Reliable transportation to wedding locations.
• Strong communication skills with the team.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in editing (though not required as the company handles editing).
