About the position
The Freight Broker Agent position at Logistic Dynamics (LDi) is designed for experienced freight agents looking to leverage their existing book of business and sales skills within a supportive and technologically advanced environment. This role allows agents to work independently while benefiting from LDi's extensive resources, including a vast carrier network and proprietary tools to enhance their business operations and earning potential.
Responsibilities
- Utilize LDi's proprietary TMS and analytics reporting system to manage shipments and costs effectively.
- Focus on sales and growth by leveraging LDi's tools and resources.
- Maintain and grow a book of business with shipping customers.
- Collaborate with the dedicated agent development team for professional growth.
- Engage with the available carrier sales group to assist in load coverage and dispatching.
Requirements
- Must have a book of business (shipping customers).
- Must have experience in freight brokering or freight sales (minimum 1 year preferred).
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in a sales environment.
- Familiarity with load boards such as DAT and Truckstop.
