About the position
The Fresh Cut Produce Associate at SpartanNash is responsible for maintaining and operating the Fresh Cut Produce department, ensuring the preparation and presentation of cut fruits and vegetables meet company standards. This role contributes to the financial success of the store while adhering to safety and food quality guidelines. The associate will also engage in various tasks to enhance customer experience and maintain a clean working environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare all varieties of cut fruits and vegetables.
- Maintain display and quality control.
- Become certified in Fresh Cuts Production.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Follow all PPE and safety guidelines.
- Follow all food safety and cleaning expectations.
- Follow guest experience guidelines.
- May be assigned tasks in other departments based on customer experience need.
- Complete all other duties as assigned in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Some retail experience is a plus.
- Some computer skills.
- Basic mathematic skills.
- Able to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
