About the position
The position requires a candidate with previous general maintenance experience or equivalent school training. The schedule is for the 2nd shift, with times and days varying based on production needs. Weekend and holiday work will be required at times. The candidate must be able to understand labels, read recipes, follow instructions, and communicate effectively. A valid Driver License is required, and the candidate must obtain a company license. Overtime and weekend work may be necessary. Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including motor wiring, control wiring, and the ability to perform mechanical and electrical duties as required by a supervisor is essential. Candidates must pass all mechanical knowledge and hands-on tests within 30 days of employment. Additionally, candidates must have a good attendance record, be able to read manuals in English, and comply with OSHA standards. The role involves close collaboration with other maintenance personnel and performing various tasks as requested by the supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance tasks as assigned by administration.
- Understand and follow safety rules, including Lockout/Tagout procedures.
- Work closely with other maintenance personnel to exchange job-related information.
- Perform mechanical and electrical duties and adjustments as required by the supervisor.
- Complete all other duties as requested by the supervisor.
Requirements
- Must have previous general maintenance experience or equivalent school training.
- Must have knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including motor wiring and control wiring.
- Must be able to read, write, and have a basic knowledge of math.
- Must have a valid Driver License and obtain a company license.
- Must be able to pass all mechanical knowledge and hands-on tests within 30 days.

Nice-to-haves
