About the position

Frisco CDJR is seeking a Vehicle Acquisition Specialist/Used Car Buyer to join their team. This role involves acquiring vehicles for resale by effectively communicating with potential sellers and managing leads. The ideal candidate will be organized, tech-savvy, and possess strong customer service skills, contributing to the dealership's success in meeting monthly buying quotas.

Responsibilities

• Call/text/email potential vehicle sellers to acquire inventory for resale
• Answer inbound calls from customers interested in selling their vehicles
• Meet quota of acquiring 15 - 20 units per month
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Previous automotive sales experience preferred but not required
• Highly motivated self-starter with an outgoing, customer-oriented personality
• Outstanding phone and communication skills
• Ability to achieve goals with limited direct supervision
• Strong computer skills and internet/social media savvy

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in Internet or BDC Sales
• Ability to evaluate and appraise used vehicles using industry-leading software
