About the position

As a Senior Visual Designer at Capgemini Invent, you will play a pivotal role in the design and orchestration of visual elements across various projects. This position combines UI/UX design with brand communication, requiring a balance of creativity and strategic thinking. You will be responsible for leading design activities, mentoring junior designers, and engaging with clients to provide expert recommendations. Your work will involve creating scalable design systems, crafting user interfaces, and developing brand identities, all aimed at enhancing the human experience through design.

Responsibilities

• Translate brand principles, themes, and moods into strategic frameworks for visual expressions
• Create scalable design language systems for typography, color, components, and layouts
• Craft user interfaces for digital consumer and enterprise products
• Design brand identities and brand collateral
• Build wayfinding and pictographically systems
• Create multi-media narratives that tell engaging stories of a team, project, or deliverable, with the audience and communication objective in mind
• Lead client conversations within your domain, providing articulate recommendations and helping guide client choices
• Plan, prioritize, and deliver visual design activities autonomously in the context of interdisciplinary projects
• Contribute to business development through proposal-writing and pitches

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional visual design experience
• Highly developed design skills, demonstrated in your portfolio of recent work
• Confident presentation and storytelling abilities
• Proficiency with contemporary design and prototyping tools and methods

Nice-to-haves

• A university degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related design or artistic discipline
