The Counter Person at Moving Dough Pizza Co. is a part-time role focused on delivering exceptional customer service at the front counter. Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
• Answer phone calls and assist customers with inquiries, take orders, and provide accurate information about our menu offerings.
• Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Accurately record and process customer orders through the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Verify order details, including special requests and dietary restrictions.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
• Process payments, including cash, credit/debit cards, and contactless payments, accurately.
• Provide customers with receipts and handle change as needed.
• Stay knowledgeable about our menu items, ingredients, and promotions to assist customers with their choices.
• Make recommendations based on customer preferences and dietary requirements.
• Keep the counter area, POS system, and surrounding workspaces clean and organized.
• Ensure condiments, napkins, and utensils are well-stocked and readily available to customers.
• Work closely with kitchen staff and delivery drivers to coordinate orders and maintain smooth operations.
• Assist in packaging and handing over completed orders to customers.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality.
• Strong communication skills, both in-person and over the phone.
• Basic math skills for processing payments and handling cash.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus, but training will be provided.
• Punctuality and reliability are essential.
