About the position

The Front Desk Agent/Night Auditor at Holiday Inn Express in Carthage, TX, serves as the first point of contact for guests, managing all aspects of their accommodation. This role involves registering guests, managing reservations, and providing information about the hotel’s amenities. The Night Audit shift runs from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and additional hours may be available for those willing to cross-train in other departments. The position requires a strong customer service orientation to ensure a pleasant and memorable stay for guests.

Responsibilities

• Perform all check-in and check-out tasks
• Manage online and phone reservations
• Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data
• Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay)
• Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms
• Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities
• Respond to clients' complaints in a timely and professional manner
• Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate
• Maintain updated records of bookings and payments

Requirements

• Work experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist or similar role
• Experience with hotel reservations software is a plus
• Customer service attitude
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Basic Math Skills
• Outgoing friendly personality and willingness to learn
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must submit to pre-employment drug test and background check.
