About the position

The Front Desk Agent - Night Auditor at Golden Nugget is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests, managing hotel paperwork, and ensuring accurate financial transactions. This role involves greeting guests, registering their information, settling accounts, and maintaining a positive atmosphere within the hotel environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver positive, courteous, and professional guest service in all interactions.
  • Register arriving guests by completing appropriate paperwork and obtaining payment information.
  • Settle account balances of departing guests by accepting payment and handling cash drawer.
  • Investigate and resolve general billing discrepancies.
  • Respond to guest inquiries concerning entertainment or attractions and provide general information.
  • Print and process routine reports and assist in training new employees.
  • Promote positive public/employee relations at all times.
  • Uphold guest relations positively and refer complaints to appropriate personnel.
  • Assist other departments with requirements related to hotel guests.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment.
  • Run reports and ensure accuracy of room rates, guest accounts, and transactions.
  • Correct errors and adjustments to ensure hotel revenue balances.
  • Balance cashier's paperwork with the house account.
  • Ensure manual postings are accurate for revenue centers.
  • Post room charges with applicable taxes and roll date to the next casino date.
  • Notify management of concerns regarding responsible gaming and alcohol service.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Prior high-volume customer service experience.
  • One year of hotel front desk experience strongly preferred.
