About the position

As a Front Desk Agent at Aloft Hotels, you will play a crucial role in providing outstanding guest service by greeting and registering guests, as well as managing their check-out process. This position is essential for ensuring guest satisfaction and financial profitability for the hotel. Responsibilities

  • Greet guests and complete the registration process, including inputting and retrieving information from the computer.
  • Assist guests with check-out, ensuring rooms and services are correctly accounted for and processing payments.
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of hotel information, including room categories, rates, and local area attractions.
  • Use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and maximize occupancy.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and friendly manner.
  • Field guest complaints and negotiate solutions for guest satisfaction.
  • Receive, input, retrieve, and relay messages to guests.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Front Desk Agent in a hotel preferred.
  • Previous Light Speed experience highly preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent computer, communication, and interpersonal skills.
