About the position

The Front Desk Agent at Tru by Hilton is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and managing hotel operations efficiently. This role involves greeting guests, handling inquiries, and ensuring a seamless stay experience while maintaining a professional demeanor. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and proficiency in hotel management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and check-in guests, handle guest inquiries, and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Manage front desk operations, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Handle guest requests, including room service, laundry, and tour bookings.
  • Process guest payments, handle cash handling, and maintain accurate records of transactions.
  • Ensure that the front desk area is clean, organized, and well-maintained.
  • Conduct night audits to verify hotel transactions and ensure accuracy.
  • Collaborate with other hotel staff members to provide excellent guest services.
  • Maintain knowledge of hotel facilities, services, and policies to answer guest inquiries.
  • Provide multilingual support to guests when necessary.
  • Stay up-to-date with hotel management systems and procedures.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional customer service and a positive experience for our guests.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a hospitality or hotel management role.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages.
  • Proficiency in hotel management systems, including phone systems.
  • Knowledge of hotel operations and hospitality management principles.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • A commitment to providing exceptional guest services and a positive experience for our guests.
  • The ability to maintain a professional and friendly demeanor at all times.
