About the position

The Front Desk Agent at Dimension Master is responsible for providing a pleasant, professional, and efficient experience for guests during check-in and check-out processes. This role involves a variety of tasks that contribute to the overall satisfaction of hotel guests, ensuring they receive the necessary information and assistance during their stay.

Responsibilities

  • Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests.
  • Issue room keys and escort instructions to the Bell person or directly to guests as appropriate.
  • Answer inquiries related to hotel services, guest registration, and local attractions.
  • Maintain records of room availability and guest accounts.
  • Make, confirm, and cancel reservations for guests as needed.
  • Compute bills, collect payments, and provide change to guests.
  • Post charges for room, food, liquor, or telephone services.
  • Sort and manage incoming mail and messages.
  • Transmit and receive messages using communication equipment.
  • Understand and enforce hotel credit policies.
  • Account for all cash and make deposits according to hotel policies.
  • Initiate friendly greetings to guests upon arrival.
  • In a lead capacity, take responsibility for assigned employees in the absence of a supervisor and ensure proper performance of tasks.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 months experience in hospitality, general office, accounts receivable, or customer service.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with hotel management software.
  • Bilingual abilities to assist a diverse clientele.
