About the position

The Front Desk Agent plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to guests at the hotel. This position involves greeting guests, managing check-ins and check-outs, and ensuring guest satisfaction through effective communication and coordination with various departments. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to a positive guest experience.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests in a friendly and warm manner; perform guest check-in and check-out
  • Review arrivals and departures for guest preferences to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Provide information and act as a resource to our guests or hotel visitors
  • Receive and acknowledge reservation requests, cancellations, and changes
  • Communicate guest requests and issues to the proper departments
  • Coordinate with other departments to fulfill special guest requests

Requirements

  • 1-2 years prior Front Office experience
  • Luxury hotel experience preferred
  • Hospitality degree preferred
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office and knowledge of a property management system
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A positive attitude and ability to work well with a diverse staff
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Leadership and customer service skills
  • Have flexibility to work a varied schedule, including overnights and weekends
  • Multilingual (preferred)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Looking for growth and development into a supervisory/management role
