The Front Desk Agent at Best Western Plus is responsible for providing exceptional hospitality and creating memorable experiences for guests. This role involves managing guest check-ins and check-outs, handling reservations, and ensuring a high standard of service is maintained throughout the guest's stay. Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the front desk
  • Check-in and check-out guests, ensuring all necessary information is obtained and recorded accurately
  • Manage reservations and room assignments effectively, ensuring maximum occupancy and revenue
  • Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions
  • Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries or requests in a professional and timely manner
  • Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to guests
  • Handle guest complaints or concerns with empathy and resolve issues to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
  • Uphold Best Western's brand standards and values, delivering exceptional service at all times
  • Gather more information from guests such as Company Name or reason for staying to assist with sales

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Proficient in using phone systems and computer software applications
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficient computer skills and experience with hotel management software is advantageous
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • A positive attitude, a passion for customer service, and a genuine desire to exceed guest expectations
