About the position

The Front Desk Associate/Night Auditor at Hampton Inn by Hilton Sulphur is responsible for providing excellent customer service and managing front desk operations during overnight shifts. This role involves handling guest check-ins and check-outs, managing reservations, and performing night audit procedures. The ideal candidate will be motivated, willing to learn, and possess a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Provide front desk services to guests, including transportation and restaurant recommendations.
  • Acquire and maintain knowledge of hotel policies and procedures, room rates, types, locations, and availability.
  • Create reservations for incoming guests.
  • Administer prompt check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Deliver guest mail, messages, and set wake-up calls.
  • Coordinate and communicate with other local hotels.
  • Operate the Hilton PEP computer system, including Microsoft Office and Excel software.
  • Manage a multi-line phone system.
  • Maintain guest room inventory.
  • Resolve and prioritize customer complaints and/or disputes.
  • Perform all night audit procedures and other assigned activities as a Night Manager.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1+ years customer service experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient time management and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with conflict resolution.

Nice-to-haves

  • Hotel experience (1 year preferred).
