About the position

The Part-Time Front Desk Associate at Villa Marin is responsible for providing excellent customer service in the Resident Services department. This role involves directing visitors, managing incoming calls, and coordinating with security to ensure a welcoming environment for residents and guests. The position requires effective communication skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality while performing essential job functions.

Responsibilities

  • Direct visitors, applicants, and salespersons to the appropriate department or party.
  • Operate the telephone system to receive and direct incoming calls.
  • Coordinate with security to staff the Front Desk effectively.
  • Maintain confidentiality of information pertaining to staff and residents.
  • Meet and greet facility visitors and residents in a positive manner.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Must meet health assessment requirements as regulated by the California Department of Social Services.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a retirement community or similar environment.
