The Front Desk Associate at Atrium Hospitality is a vital role responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests at the Wyndham Grand in Oklahoma City. This position involves checking in guests, providing exceptional customer service, and being a knowledgeable resource about the hotel and local area. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong desire to make meaningful connections with guests.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests and taking a sincere interest in their needs.
  • Check guests in, ensuring proper credit is received, special requests are noted and fulfilled, and accurate information is established.
  • Assist guests with sending and receiving faxes, packages, and mail.
  • Help to resolve problems through recovery when issues arise.
  • Become an expert on the local area to answer inquiries about hotel services, registration, shopping, dining, and travel directions.
  • Interact with hotel/resort staff in a professional manner, assisting other departments with necessary information.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong customer service skills with a desire to make an impact on others.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an outgoing and engaging personality.
  • Ability to quickly learn and operate a Property Management System.
  • Physical ability to stand for the duration of the shift.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a hospitality or customer service role.
  • Familiarity with hotel operations and services.
